アショフ・ホンマ生物リズム賞は

ジョン・ホーゲネッシュ博士に

決定しました
 

ホーゲネッシュ博士(米国・シンシナチ大学）は、Bmal1を含むbHLH-PAS蛋白質の解析を手始めに、生物時計の分子機構解明に多大な貢献をしてきました。

授賞式は2024年8月9日（金）札幌市で行われ、同時に受賞記念講演、シンポジウム、祝賀会が行われました。

John Hogenesch was cited pioneering works on deciphering the mammalian circadian transcriptome, including the development of rigorous information technologies for the field at large; and on bridging basic and clinical approaches for rational applications to circadian medicine. Hogenesch is SSBR President-elect for 2022-2024.
